EnSURE - Portable Luminometer with Trending Software

Food & Beverage

EnSURE is a small portable luminometer that measures emitted light from bespoke detection devices for testing several different analytes. Using state-of- the-art technology, it provides high sensitivity with low background noise for sensitive reliable detection. It is simple to use, small, lightweight offering excellent value of money. This versatile multi-functional instrument stores and manages data that is downloaded to SureTrend software allowing for easy data analysis.

MicroSnap - Rapid Bacterial Detection

Food & Beverage

MicroSnap is family of rapid measurement devices for bacteria giving results in 4 – 8 hours when used with EnSURE luminometer. MicroSnap comprises of 2 parts used in 2 steps; an enrichment device used for sample collection, preparation and enrichment in a bespoke medium prior to a separate detection device that is measured in the EnSURE.

AllerSnap - Allergen Detection on Surfaces

Food & Beverage

AllerSnap is an integrated reagent swab device for the detection of non-specific protein residues on surfaces to verify cleanliness. This visual colourimetric test changes from green to purple providing a qualitative and semi-quantitative result. It has a high sensitivity capable of detecting 1- 3 µg protein after 15 mins incubation at 55oC.

InSite - Fast Food Pathogen Detection

Food & Beverage

InSite is a self-contained, reagent swab device for the detection of pathogens in environmental samples. Each device contains a chromogenic liquid media formulated with antibiotics, growth enhancers, and colour changing compounds. The devices consist of pre-enrichment media and neutralisers on the swab and selective enrichment in the separate bulb. Specific version for Listeria and Salmonella give presumptive positive results in ~30 hours.

ATP Hygiene Monitoring for Surfaces or Liquids

Food & Beverage

All-in-one sample collection and testing device for use with a luminometer to measure residual contamination on surfaces or in liquid samples giving results in 15 seconds. The device contains a liquid-stable reagent in patented snap valve technology for consistency, convenience and ease of use. The pre-wetted swab ensures good sample collection and recovery.

BAX® System X5

Food & Beverage

An automated, PCR-based detection method that helps food companies, service laboratories and government agencies detect pathogens in raw ingredients, finished products and processing environments.

foodproof® Salmonella Detection LyoKit

Food & Beverage

The foodproof® Salmonella Detection LyoKit is based on 5’ nuclease probes and provides rapid, accurate and actionable detection of Salmonella spp.. This highly specific and sensitive product has been validated with hundreds of different food matrices and a total of more than 750 different Salmonella serovars. Salmonella are rod-shaped, gram-negative bacteria that you cannot see, taste or smell but are one of the most common causes of food-related illnesses among humans and animals, officially known as salmonellosis. The infection usually occurs as a result of ingesting contaminated food and is often referred to as food-poisoning, triggering symptoms such as fever, upset stomach, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. The most typical food sources of Salmonella infection include raw and undercooked meat, eggs, unpasteurized milk, raw fruit and vegetables.

foodproof® Enterobacteriaceae plus Cronobacter Detection Kit

Food & Beverage

The foodproof® Enterobacteriaceae plus Cronobacter Detection Kit allows for the simultaneous detection of the genus Cronobacter (E. sakazakii) and the Enterobacteriaceae family via real-time PCR. Since 2005, laws requiring the investigation of powdered infant formula for the pathogenic genus Cronobacter also recommend screening for the Enterobacteriaceae family as a hygiene indicator. The foodproof® Enterobacteriaceae plus Cronobacter Detection Kit combines these two parameters, making it the only kit on the market that complies with the statutory requirements in a single test.
