Soleris® NF-OSB: Rapid, Automated Testing for Aciduric Microorganisms

In a recent study following ISO 17469, NEOGEN® collaborated with the International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association (IFU) to validate the IFU No. 2 method as an official reference method for the detection and enumeration of spoilage microorganisms in fruit related products.

At the same time, an ISO 16140-2 validation was carried out to show that the Soleris® NF-OSB testing vial for aciduric microorganisms was a suitable alternative method to the IFU standard.

With ISO 16140-2 validation covering fruit juices and flavoured waters, our ready-to-use Soleris NF-OSB vial can give accurate results in less than 48 hours compared to the 72 hours of the reference method. Faster time to results allows production decisions to be made fast and effectively.
