Redberry has developed two new Bioburden applications for the Red One™ platform:

• Enumeration of bacteria (in 2 hours) and
• Enumeration of bacteria & fungi (in 4 hours).

Both are based on a 3-step workflow

• Filtrate both sample and activation buffer
• Incubate RedCaps in your incubator
• Analyze them with Red One™

 
Risk of cross-contamination is minimized (by limited manual handling and a touch-free membrane device) similar to the standard DVC (Direct Viable Count) application, available on the same Red One™ platform.

Analyses with Red One™ are highly reproducible due to its fully automated operation that does not require any confirmation afterwards (normally performed with a microscope).
