Introducing Opti-Tranz™ and Opti-Tranz Plus™– our brand new line of traditional liquid and semi-solid collection and transport systems for bacteriological applications.
- Liquid Media: Choose from Liquid Amies or liquid Stuart. Liquid Amies is ideal for direct aerobic culture, gram staining and rapid antigen tests. Liquid Stuart is a non-nutritive, general-purpose medium for the preservation and maintenance of aerobic bacteria.
- Agar Gel: Amies gel is ideal for aerobes, anaerobes, and fastidious bacteria culture. Available with or w/out charcoal.
Opti-Tranz™ Plus is only offered from Puritan. Available in liquid form with HydraFlock flocked swabs. Request Samples
