Do you need to verify your in-house microbiology methods to the new ISO 16140-3 standard? Unlike ISO 16140-2 that shows that a method can provide a comparable result to a reference method, the new ISO 16140-3 helps you demonstrate that your laboratory can operate that method correctly. It will become a much-used standard by testing laboratories.
Previously, laboratory personnel have often verified that they can use a method to achieve correct results using a procedure that was not exact to that used in another, different laboratory. To overcome this issue there is now an International Standard that covers this area.
The recently published ISO 16140-3 standard guides laboratories through the internal verifications of a method, to show that it works in their hands, and our seminar will help you understand it. The seminar will examine ISO 16140-3 in detail showing how it works and what your laboratory personnel will have to do to operate the standard correctly.
