ZellShield® protects cell cultures from a variety of contaminants. The effective combination of natamycin, ciprofloxacin and clindamycin inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis, protein biosynthesis or exhibits macrolide properties. These bactericidal and fungicidal properties enable the inhibition and permanent removal of microbial contaminants from the cell culture. The use of conventional antibiotics is no longer necessary.
