Lab Offers IFA Test for PEDV

The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in Amarillo now offers an immunofluorescence assay (IFA) test for Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus (PEDV).

The PEDV IFA allows TVMDL diagnosticians to detect antibodies to the virus using a minimum of 0.5 – 1.00cc serum. The test cost is $8 in state and $9.60 for out-of-state testing, and the test is now available to order through the Amarillo lab. Visit tvmdl.tamu.edu for more information.
