: 6 Mar 2019 - 7 Mar 2019
: Taipei, Taiwan
Sector: Clinical, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical
The diversity of the Asia-Pacific region – geographically, culturally and economically – has produced variations in microbiota which may contribute to differences in how various diseases present and respond to standard treatments. It has also produced variations in the gut microbiome, an important factor if functional probiotics are going to be an effective tool towards managing food allergies and potentially reversing certain disorders and diseases.
Attracting over 300 delegates, the co-located meetings will promote comprehensive understanding and reciprocal benefits of the latest scientific and business developments in microbiome and probiotics. The 2-day interactive meeting will highlight cutting edge research and business case studies through expert presentations, and panel discussions exploring key issues in the subject area, an exhibition filled with solution providers showcasing their products and solutions, as well as networking breaks to promote interactions and business reach with fellow peers.
With a diverse group of professionals interested in microbiome and probiotics, both scientific and industry talks will take place at this event. Prof Jack Gilbert - the founder of The Earth Microbiome Project and Co-Founder of American Gut Project and Prof Mark Morrison from University of Queensland are among the speakers who will speak at the Congress.
