Barloworld Scientific, manufacturers of the famous Sterilin® brand of disposable plastics, offers a range of 96 well microtitration plates suitable for use at wavelength 340nm and compatible with all automated plate readers and washers. All samples are clearly visible within each of the 96 wells whilst alpha numeric identification alongside each well simplifies microscopic location.

In addition to the high quality clear polystyrene 96 well plates, the Sterilin® range of 96 well plates includes both black and white flat bottom chimney well plates. With minimal well to well cross talk, the black plates are ideal for use in fluorescence studies. The white plates, with increased reflectivity, offer greater sensitivity in bioluminescence assays.

Cross contamination risks are minimised by rims on each well and a rim around the periphery of the plate improves sealing with film. When lids are being used, orientation corners and condensation rings further serve to guarantee security and help prevent evaporation.

Sterilin® 96 well microtitre plates are suited to a variety of applications and are also available as U, V or flat well profiles in non-sterile or sterile versions.
