CertaBlue™ is based on the rapid detection of several metabolic processes that take place within the growing organism. The system can detect color changes through highly sensitive optical sensors. All vials are ready to use, prefilled with media, and equipped with CertaBlue™ sensors.

CertaBlue’s Yeast & Mold test is used for the selective detection of yeast and mold. The vial and sensor are especially developed for testing high volume fermented dairy products like yogurt, cottage cheese, quark, skyr, buttermilk etc. The total assay time is limited to 24 – 48 hours for most applications. Each test has a high sample capacity ranging from 1.0 to 5.0 grams.

The CertaBlue Yeast & Mold test is used in combination with the CertaBlue AutoScanner system, providing a real-time monitoring of all samples and timely warning when microbial growth is detected.
