New ISO 16140 Validated Enteros and E.coli on a Single REBECCA Plate
go back to news archives | AES CHEMUNEX has launched a new chromogenic agar plate for the simultaneous enumeration of enterobacteriaceae and Escherichia coli within 24 hours incubation at 37°C without any need for confirmation: REBECCA (Rapid EnteroBacteriaceae E Coli Coliforms Agar). The method has been validated according to ISO 16140 (for both standard and spiral plating method). E. coli colonies appear as blue colonies while other enterobacteriaceae appear red. This new method allows huge money and place savings in incubators. A complementary base is also available for the simultaneous enumeration of E. coli and coliforms on a single plate |
