Automated Salmonella, E.coli O157:H7, and Listeria screening in less than 4 hours
go back to news archivesListeria monocytogenes and Salmonella. | Food labs in Europe and Australia can now use an automated system to quickly and accurately detect Salmonella, E.coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria spp. in raw ingredients, finished products and environmental samples. Available now from Thermo Scientific, the DuPont Qualicon BAX® System allows you to load your prepared samples into a cycler/detector and walk away. In less than four hours, your computer-generated results are clearly displayed on screen. Tableted PCR (polymerase chain reaction) reagents and a closed-cap process effectively eliminate potential for contamination and operator error. |
With a single protocol for all bacteria, the automated BAX® System allows you to test for multiple targets in the same run, up to 96 samples per batch. Friendly screen prompts guide you through the entire procedure. Electronic files allow you to print, share or store your results for easy archiving and retrieval. |
