Lonza QC Testing Solutions Shares Technical Expertise through Social Platforms
go back to news archives Lonza QC Testing Solutions, have established its social presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn®. Followers and friends will receive first-hand technical tips as well as QC know-how around endotoxin and rapid microbial detection. 'Establishing a social presence is really an extension of who we are and where we've been, connecting with QC professionals, like us' explains Katrin Hoeck, Head of Marketing, Cell Analysis and Testing. 'Our aim is to enter into a direct dialog with our customers, understanding their needs and sharing our knowledge and expertise in order to help overcome the hurdles they encounter in a regulated environment.' As part of this dialog, QC professionals are invited to communicate their challenges via easily accessible, social platforms of choice. Submissions for tech tip topics can be sent via email, or through the new social channels. In turn, Lonza will publish responses to the most frequently asked questions through the relevant social channels and in their quarterly QC Testing e-Newsletter. On Twitter and Facebook Lonza actively supports horseshoe crab conservation, since its QC Professionals are aware of the importance of the horseshoe crab for its contribution to the safety of drugs and medical devices but also its ecological role. For each new Twitter follower and Facebook 'like,' Lonza will donate to ERDG, the Ecological Research and Development Group, a non-profit wildlife conservation organization whose primary focus is the conservation of the world's four remaining horseshoe crab species.
