Ready-to-Use Water Sampling Bags with Added Sodium Thiosulfate

The samples of potable water to be used for microbiological testing need to have sodium thiosulfate added to neutralize any chlorine present.

The "Tiosol Stand-Up" bag from International pbi (product code 87374) has been developed to replace the traditional fragile glass bottles used on the field to collect water and wastewater samples.

Each plastic bag contains the correct amount of sodium thiosulfate suitable for a sample volume of 500 ml of water. Welded on three sides, the specially designed base allows the bag, once filled, to stand alone facilitating easier sample collection and transport.

The "Tiosol Stand-Up" bag, is strong with good transparency and comes sterile, resistant to 82 °C, with a wire closure and writing strip.
