Alpha Laboratories has recently published a guide to it's Pastette range showing products particularly suited to laboratory tissue culture techniques.

Pastettes are plastic transfer pipettes manufactured from low density polyethylene. This means that they are safe, removing the inherent risk of using glass and that they can be moulded for particular applications.

Alpha now offers 45 different designs in over 80 packaging configurations.

The designs featured in this guide include Aspirators for attaching to vacuum lines to remove media from Tissue Culture flasks.

The big Nine Inch and 300mm long Jumbo Pastette which are ideal for sampling from large flasks and roller bottles.

Extended Fine Tip Pastettes for plaque picking and working in small containers.

The Cell Saver Pastette which has a wide orifice to prevent shearing of delicate cells.

All these designs are available from stock, Gamma Irradiated as well as non sterile and batch sterilisation certificates are also available upon request.
