Rapid Diagnostic for Rotavirus and Adenovirus 40/41
go back to news archivesGastroVir-Stripcolor is an innovative colored test which will speed up your diagnosis of enteric viruses in stool specimens.
The GastroVir-Stripcolor developed by Coris BioConcept is a unique rapid test in color to detect both Rotavirus and Adenovirus type 40/41 on the same strip.
This kit is a single one-step chromatographic membrane test using colored colloidal microsphere particles and specific monoclonal immunoreagents.
Tests are accurate, specific, sensitive, easy to use, and provide results within 15 minutes: a red or blue line appears at site of immobilized antibodies if Group F Adenoviruses or Rotavirus are present in the samples while the green line will develop to check the migration process.
