New foodproof® Beer Screening Kit Detects Wider Range of Spoilage Organisms

foodproof beer spoilage kit
The foodproof® Beer Screening Kit from BIOTECON Diagnostics has previously been able to detect Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, Pectinatus and Megasphaera as well as identifying Lactobacillus brevis, Lactobacillus lindneri, Pediococcus damnosus, Pediococcus inopinatus, and Megasphaera cerevisiae - quickly and reliably detecting beer contaminants with a high degree of sensitivity.
Now with the additional detection of L. rossiae, P. haikarae, M. paucivorans and M. sueciensis plus Lactobacillus backii all together in one kit, you can have a complete package for the detection of the most relevant beer spoilage organisms in just one test.

The result is a clear statement of presence or absence of these beer spoilage organisms. With this complete solution the foodproof® Beer Screening Kit is absolutely unique on the market. Now adapted for use on the LightCycler® 480 it is available for an even wider range of potentially interested customers.

The ease of use and high performance as well as the easy to interpret results make it possible to accomplish the complete assay without specific training. With clear reductions in cost per test and time to result, our customers (e.g. Bitburger and Veltins) have been able to optimize their brewing process from production to delivery.

Our partnerships with leading distributors all over the world make it possible to guarantee
the availability of our products worldwide at any time.
