New Biochemical Identification System for Streptococci and Enterococci

Merlin Diagnostika have introduced a new system for identification of Streptococci and Enterococci. The MICRONAUT-STREP features the use of low inocula, no addition of reagents and optional use of integrated additional tests.

MICRONAUT-STREP Identification system to detect Streptococci and Enterococci within 20 - 24 h
  • Identification via 24 biochemical reactions (chromogenic substrates, decarboxylases,
    classical reactions and fermentations)

  • Results after 20 - 24 h of incubation, without addition of reagents

  • 29 different taxa included in the data base

  • Standardized procedure

  • Optimized software controlled reading and interpretation

  • MICRONAUT-STREP plates are stable for 24 month, stored at 15 - 25 °C

  • One package contains 40 x 4 Tests, 1L NaCI and perforated plate sealers
