New Software for Microbiology Test Management

Computing Solutions, Inc. (CSI) releases LabSoft LIMS Micro (Micro). This Add-In Module manages the microbiology testing environment to promote efficiency, accuracy and workflow standardization.

Micro is designed to meet the growing microbiological needs of the food processing industry. It presents data to establish a point of reference and consistently monitors the microbiology sampling process. These actions cultivate proactive control in the microbiological environment. Micro's standardizing method assists processing facilities with HACCP validation and helps reduce the risk of regulatory infringements.

Features of LabSoft LIMS Micro include: true randomized sample site selection, scheduling, sample information entry, seamless communication to an external lab, customized reporting, action item tracking, process verification, and automatic E-mail notifications. The Micro Module is available beginning with LabSoft LIMS version 7.12.

Founded in 1984, Computing Solutions, Inc. is a privately held corporation headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. LabSoft LIMS was first installed at a large plant in 1989, and it quickly spread because of the rich feature set and usability.
