Esco Supplies 18 Class II Safety Cabinets for 2008 Olympic Games
go back to news archives Esco China has recently won a tender to supply 18 units of Airstream Class II Biological Safety Cabinets to hospitals in Beijing, China, for medical support of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Beijing has set up an emergency response command system including 24 listed hospitals to cope with any outbreak of infectious diseases during the 2008 Olympic Games. The city's labs have been equipped with sophisticated test apparatus that can instantly detect plague, anthrax and eight other virulent pathogens and biological toxins. Many leading hospitals in Beijing, China, including the Beijing Hospital, the Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital, and others, are already satisfied users of Esco biological safety cabinets. |
