SGL Aircheck® & Surfacecheck® High Quality Culture Media for Environmental Monitoring

SGL supplies a wide range of plate media for use in pharmaceutical applications, aseptically produced plate media and gamma Irradiated media for environmental monitoring your clean and critical areas. These are available in standard 55mm, 90mm, 140mm petri dishes and contact plate formats.

Designed especially for microbial monitoring of cleanrooms, isolators and associated controlled environments, TSA and SDA Aircheck® and Surfacecheck® plates from SGL are ideal for use in passive/active air sampling and other environmental monitoring procedures including routine personnel and surface monitoring. The products are Pharmacopoeia compliant and provide a consistent solution enabling end user compliance with Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

Triple wrapped and sterile irradiated to facilitate entry to the most stringent aseptic areas, the second wrapper acts as a barrier to vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP) allowing plates to be exposed to VHP sterilisation without inhibiting the microbial recovery performance.

A process to reduce moisture loss and condensation results in a plate designed to limit excessive condensation in storage but also dehydration during use. All this combined with single batch availability for orders reducing QC time and with a long 6 month shelf life at room temperature to allow efficient stock management.

TSA and SDA Surfacecheck®N includes agents in the agar specifically to neutralise different disinfectant residues. This enables optimal microbial recovery even from cleaned surfaces - no false negatives.

TSA and SDA Surfacecheck®+ are deep fill 90mm settle plates allowing for longer exposure or incubation in higher airflow or very dry environments.

SGL can manufacture specific variations of these plates with different formulations or packaging formats to suit any application.
