R-Biopharm AG can now offer the well established RIDASCREEN® SET Total in a new package size of 48 wells (Art. No. R4106). RIDASCREEN® SET is an official European screening method for Staphylococcal enterotoxins in food. The smaller sized kit is extremely convenient for laboratories with a lower throughput of food samples which have to be analysed for the presence of Staphylococcal Enterotoxins (SET) A, B, C, D and E.

From now on and in the future there is no necessity anymore to outsource this kind of analysis to laboratories with higher throughput or to reference laboratories!

Generally the performance of the kit remains completely the same as for the current RIDASCREEN® SET Total, R4105 with 96 determinations which will still be available for high throughput laboratories. The only difference between the two kits is that the volumes of the specific reagents have been adjusted to the appropriate amount for 48 wells on the microtiter plate.
