IAFP Organizers Plan Responsibly for Cleveland 2020 In-Person Event
The International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) have announced that attendees at this year's IAFP 2020 event will need to follow recommended precautions to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases.
The IAFP 2020 event is scheduled for the 25th - 28th October 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio. The IAFP Annual Meeting is attended by more than 3,800 of the top industry, academic and governmental food safety professionals from six continent and provides expert guidance on current and emerging food safety issues, the latest science, innovative solutions to new and recurring problems, and the opportunity to network with thousands of food safety professionals from around the globe.
IAFP continues to monitor developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), including statements and guidance issued by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
IAFP is working with the Destination Cleveland (Convention & Visitors Bureau), Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and the Cleveland hotels to ensure the safest meeting possible and continues to follow updates from health authorities throughout this worldwide crisis
