Hardy Diagnostics To Distribute Novel Food Pathogen System in North America

Crystal Diagnostics has announced an agreement with Hardy Diagnostics to sell and distribute the CDx Xpress System in North America. The CDx Xpress is a rapid and sensitive pathogen detection platform.

The system combines proprietary liquid crystal technology with antibody-coated paramagnetic microspheres to selectively capture and detect STEC from food matrixes, faster than other commercial systems. Want to see how it works - visit www.crystaldiagnostics.com/technology/works/

In the past twelve months Crystal Diagnostics has sold Xpress Systems to a number of processors, government and commercial test labs, as well as academic and research organizations. The system has numerous AOAC accreditations, including ones for  E. coli O157 and the “Big 6” STECs.

The company expects accreditations for Salmonella and Listeria by the end of the first quarter 2016.
