Geneius rapID® E. coli 0157 Test Gains UKAS Accreditation
Geneius have extended their range of rapID® testing services with a novel UKAS accredited test for presumptive E. coli 0157.
Results from plates/slopes are available within hours. From product the turnaround time is 2.5 days.
A non-accredited modification of the PCR reaction – using a multiplex approach – enables the additional identification of pathogenic E. coli (STEC/VTEC based on presence of stx1/stx2/eae genes).
