Detect and Identify Six Listeria spp. with Pall® GeneDisc®
Pall GeneDisc technologies enable the detection and identification of Listeria spp.: L. monocytogenes, L. grayi, L. seeligeri, L. innocua, L. ivanovii and L. welshimeri, in one work shift. The protocol gives food industries maximum flexibility in testing strategies: to rapidly assess the Listeria contamination level of their working environment, raw material, in-process samples and final products.
Shorter time-to-result allows industries to manage the work environment perfectly; take in-process decisions, lower the risk of contamination of end-products, and dramatically reduce the financial impact of product scrapping and recalls. Final product testing can also be performed in one work shift.
The application flexibility enables industries to choose the best combination of sensitivity and rapidity that best fits each process stage. It has a limit of detection (LoD) range from 1 CFU/sample to 1 CFU/g with a time-to-result in as little as 20 hours.
The GeneDisc system is a complete microbiological control tool for food industries. GeneDisc tests for Salmonella, Campylobacter, pathogenic E. coli O157 and STEC Top 7 and are also certified by AOAC and NF VALIDATION.
