CRO Offers Milliflex Rapid Sterility Testing


Gibraltar Laboratories, Inc. a Contract Research Organization offering professional research and quality control testing services for pharmaceutical, medical device and related industries, can now offer clients rapid sterility testing using the state-of-the-art Milliflex Rapid System, a growth-based fluorescent detection system. The Milliflex Rapid System is used for rapid Sterility and Bioburden validation testing.  It utilizes adenosine triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence in order to highlight microbial colonies present within a tested substance. With the new Milliflex Rapid System, Gibraltar Laboratories, Inc. offers sterility testing results in as few as 4 days.
