This course is designed to provide attendees with an overview of the revised PDA Technical Report No. 33, Evaluation, Validation and Implementation of Alternative and Rapid Microbiological Testing Methods, and how the report can be used as the basis for the validation and implementation of alternative and rapid microbiological methods (RMMs). The format is a lecture presentation, but audience involvement will be highly encouraged. Significant changes to the original technical report, which was first published in 2000, will be described in great detail.
Taught by one of the industry’s global leaders in rapid methods, the attendees will be immersed in discussions that will provide a meaningful and understandable roadmap for how to evaluate alternative and RMMs and employ them in their own laboratory and manufacturing areas.
