New Quick Cooling Feature Reduces Autoclave Cycle Time

Known for their advanced Systec autoclaves, Microbiology International releases a new quick-cooling feature to further reduce cycle time for liquid sterilization and make autoclaving more efficient for your lab.

Paired with optional water cooling with support pressure and the radial ventilator, the new Ultra Cooling option can reduce cooling time by 90% compared to self-cooling and 50% compared to water cooling with just the radial ventilator alone.

Ultra Cooling utilizes an additional heat exchanger behind the radial ventilator. This special ridged coil provides a substantial increase in surface area for fast and efficient removal of heat during the cooling process. Cooling time will be between 20 minutes and 2 hours, depending on load volume. As with other cooling options, support pressure eliminates evaporative loss from liquids during cooling.
