Microcentrifuge Tubes Engineered for Easy Opening

The new LiteTouch™ 1.7 ml microcentrifuge tubes offer faster sample processing and throughput. Thanks to its new design they reduce the risk of glove-to-tube contamination and are easy to open with just one hand.

Less fatigue, particularly on large sample runs and a reduced risk of contamination. The new design makes them easier and faster to open with just one hand. By connecting the tab directly to the hinge, a light downward pressure it all it takes to 'pop' the secure seal and lift the lid. Furthermore it reduces the risk of glove-to-tube contamination.

Compared with the prying motion required to open conventional tubes, Rainin´s LiteTouch tubes are a dramatic, ergonomic improvement that will enhance work flow and speed throughput with multiple samples.

Reduced Contamination
Opening the tube by the rear tab—rather than from the front—virtually eliminates contamination by a technician´s hands, pipettes and other surfaces.

Stringent Quality Testing
Manufactured under Class 100,000 conditions, our tubes are free of detectable biological contamination such as RNase, DNase, DNA, ATP, pyrogens, nucleases and PCR inhibitors.

Clarity and Convenience
LiteTouch tubes are made from durable, high-clarity polymer, include 0.5 ml graduations with frosted writing surfaces on the cap and tube body. The tubes can be autoclaved and are available pre-sterilized.
