IGEN International, Inc. announced that it will be introducing its new INTELLIGENT System at the annual meeting of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) being held in San Diego from June 30 to July 3, 2002.
The introduction of the INTELLIGENT System to the industrial food testing market marks the first commercial application of IGEN's M1 product line, which is based on the Company's proprietary ORIGEN® technology.

Wohlstadter, IGEN's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "The new system is complemented by our strong portfolio of PATHIGEN tests including tests for E. coli O157, Salmonella, Campylobacter, and Listeria."
