AVM® Veg Powder – First Plant-based Linden Grain Medium

AVM® veg from Döhler is the first powder exclusively made from plant-based raw materials used to produce liquid Linden Grain medium.

Aseptic Validation Medium veg allows standardised and reliable detection of beverage-spoiling bacteria, yeast and mould when validating aseptic filling lines for low-acid beverages.

The exclusive use of plant-based raw materials eliminates the intake of any animal ingredients in the production process of beverages. In addition, it contributes to the sustainability program from Döhler designed to reduce the CO2 footprint.

AVM® veg Powder has an excellent solubility to prepare liquid medium and is provided in 20 kg buckets. Thanks to the medium‘s ideal composition, beverage-spoiling microorganisms can be detected after an incubation period of 5-7 days. Quick and easy visual monitoring is possible with no need for specialised technical equipment or additional microbiological testing.
