Autoscribe Announces Successful Business Growth

Autoscribe have achieved outstanding business results for the first quarter of the new financial year based on incoming order volume.

Overall the business has grown by 32.6% compared to the first quarter of 2004/5. The total Autoscribe LIMS business has grown by 65.5% with seven new LIMS projects booked in this time period. New business in the USA has grown by 59% and by 182% worldwide.

This success follows two strategic decisions by the company.
One was to invest heavily in a 2 to 3 year development programme to re-write Matrix LIMS for the .NET environment. One key aspect of this development was that existing users would be provided with a technical and commercial upgrade path to what is a brand new system. The upgrade is provided at no cost to current users with a support agreement.

The other was to invest in a marketing programme to make sure that customers were made aware of the excellence of Matrix LIMS, the uniqueness of the market leading configuration tools, the reputation of the product and Autoscribe for providing unmatched product stability and support services. This programme included a complete re-work of the Autoscribe web site. Overall this has resulted in many more enquiries and customer contacts together with involvement in more of the major LIMS projects around the world.
