The Redipor range of prepared media, available from Cherwell Laboratories, has been extended and now includes a greater choice of products for validation purposes.

Cherwell's range of bagged broth products now includes 100ml, 500ml, 1 litre, 3 litre and 10 litre fill options.

All the bags are manufactured in EVA film and, with the exception of the 10 litre option, are fitted with a filling line with male luer lock, an infusion spike port and an injection port for additions. The smaller bags are ideal for operator validations as they closely mimic the products used in many pharmacy manufacturing units. This allows a more representative test of product manipulation and operator technique to be carried out.

The 10 litre bag is the ideal way to present a large volume of broth for media fill trials and validations. The 10 litre option, fitted with two 3/8” MPC inserts and one female luer port, removes the risks associated with handling large glass bottles.

Cherwell has also recently introduced 10ml break point glass ampoules filled with Tryptic Soy Broth. These new additions, coupled with the extensive range of filled and empty vials, offer customers a wide choice of products to help match their validation needs. As with all Redipor media products, detailed test certificates are provided for each batch.
