Oxoid Food Awards - Close on 30 June 2008
 | Oxoid reminds you that entries for 2007/2008 Oxoid Awards must be received by 30 June 2008, so make sure you get your entries in.
| The Oxoid Young Microbiologist of the Year (open to those who are no more than 30 years old on 30 June 2008) will receive a trip to the 2009 International Association of Food Protection (IAFP) Meeting in Grapevine, Texas, USA, (a meeting widely regarded as the world's premier food safety and hygiene event) plus £1,000. The runner-up will receive £500.
The Oxoid Food Safety Team of the Year will receive £1,000 with the runner-up receiving £500. Organised in conjunction with International Food Hygiene and the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, Award winners will receive international recognition in the food and beverage media, including the Oxoid Setting Standards newsletter.
Hints and tips on what might be included in your entry are available from your local representative of Oxoid products, or can be downloaded from www.oxoid.com. But don´t delay! Entries must be sent to Fiona Macrae, awards manager, by 30 June 2008, contact details are at the top of this page. Good luck!
