Oxoid Director of Regulatory Affairs speaks at First European Microbiology Conference
Oxoid will be represented at the first European Microbiology Conference (Berlin, 22-23 April 2008) by Colin Booth, director of regulatory affairs, who is one of the conference speakers. Organised by the European Compliance Academy (ECA), this conference will provide microbiological updates and 'real life' experiences to support pharmaceutical microbiologists in modern pharmaceutical development and manufacturing activities. Sharing his knowledge in the session on Product Development, Mr Booth will speak on the subject of the developmental microbiology associated with bringing new formulations to the market, including evaluating the microbiological risk to products, processes and patients. This event is organised by Concept Heidelberg on behalf of the ECA. The aim of the conference is to equip pharmaceutical microbiologists with practical knowledge which can be applied in the workplace and to provide a forum for interesting and open discussion.
