bioMérieux Delivers New Clean Room Range for Sterility Testing

Clean Room Range of Sterility Testing Media
bioMérieux, has launched sterility media bottles in a new format, the Clean Room Range, for ultimate quality and ease of use in final product testing of sterile pharmaceutical compounds.

bioMérieux has developed a unique packaging for high performance, ready-to-use Trypticase Soy Broth and Thioglycollate media, specially designed for use in isolator or clean rooms.
Sterility media bottles are now packed in specific plastic boxes, double wrapped and given Ethylene Oxide sterilization treatment in their final packaging to offer ideal sterility assurance. This new format delivers greater quality and dependability of results. It is also more cost-effective, eliminating the need for cleaning the bottles before use.

“Bringing innovation to our pharmaceutical customers´ most critical microbiological controls is a
strategic focus for bioMérieux Industry. We are continually investing to enhance our leading range of sterility testing culture media with new high performance solutions,”
said Alexandre Mérieux, bioMérieux Corporate Vice President, Industrial Microbiology.

Both bioMérieux Clean Room sterility culture media have been formulated and tested to meet the requirements of the American, Japanese and European Pharmacopoeias for sterility testing procedures and both are available with a color coded screw cap and septum closure.
