bioMérieux's Food Safety Handbook is Now Available

Food SafetybioMérieux announces that the first Food Safety Handbook: Microbiological Challenges is now available for food professionals.

Published by bioMérieux Editions, the handbook was developed with contributions from 24 internationally renowned experts.

The Food Safety Handbook offers an in-depth analysis of microbiological food safety challenges in a user-friendly format.

Chapters cover key issues in food safety in the context of a changing global market: current and emerging foodborne pathogens, customized approaches, integrated food safety and quality systems, as well as new developments in diagnostic tools.

“ Food safety concerns all of us and has important implications not only for public health but also for international trade in agriculture and food. It is also an extremely complex field, involving diverse issues such as international and local regulations, politics, consumer health and consumer confidence,” said Alexandre Mérieux, Corporate Vice President, Industrial Microbiology, bioMérieux. “ I am sure that this publication will provide a valuable resource for food professionals.”

Those interested in acquiring the handbook should visit www.biomerieux.com/educationals.
