NRS II™ Transwab® is a new range of pre-filled sampling devices with a choice of fill volume and diluent formulation.

Each device comes as a pre-filled self-standing tube, complete with rayon swab, ready to use in a whole variety of sampling situations. The swab is already mounted in the screw-cap. There are no peel pouches or plugs to dispose of, reducing packaging, and the risk of components getting lost on food or sterile product lines.

The tubes are available with a choice of 1ml, 5ml and 10ml precision fills. There is also a complete range of diluents including NRS™ medium, Buffered Peptone Water, Butterfield Buffer, Dey-Engley Neutralising Broth, Letheen Broth and MRD (also called Peptone Saline).

All NRS II™ Transwab® devices feature Medical Wire's new leak-proof self- standing screw cap tubes.
