BD Sterile Pack Plated Media is manufactured to the industry's highest quality standards and is validated to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10^-5 according to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) guidelines. Tyvek/polyethylene packaging minimizes the risk of false contamination providing a fiber-free bacterial barrier while allowing optimal moisture transfer. BD Isolator Pack Plated Media is specially designed for isolator systems. The multi-wrap packaging protects media from vaporized hydrogen peroxide exposure.
