A new addition to the Interscience range of food processing products, the Baby Gravimat® diluter/dispenser is now available in the UK from M-Tech Diagnostics Ltd.

This compact unit is designed to accurately deliver diluent to each test sample in order to meet the operator programmed dilution ratio. Dilutions of 1:2 to 1:99 can be achieved with an accuracy of 0.1g for initial sample weighing and >99% for liquid mass dispensing. The unit is constructed from stainless steel and has a smooth, "wipe clean" touch keypad and display screen.

All operations are controlled by microprocessor with diluent addition by means of a peristaltic pump delivering 250ml in <20 seconds. Sample weight, total weight, dilution factor and identification can be downloaded via RS 232 for printer output. The Baby Gravimat® offers a quick, convenient, accurate, and economical way to deal with sample dilution prior to homogenisation for analysis.
