Microbiologics, Inc. is expanding its Custom Solutions division to encompass a wide variety of products and services which are customized to meet each customer's unique Quality Control microorganism needs. Microbiologics, Inc. is a leading producer of lyophilized microorganism preparations for Quality Control laboratories worldwide.
The Microbiologics Custom Solutions division works directly with each individual client to develop customized products that are easy-to-use and meet their specific requirements. Environmental Isolate or Objectionable Microorganism preservation is one type of service that Microbiologics specializes in providing. Environmental isolates and objectionable microorganisms can be introduced to a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or production area through numerous sources such as raw materials, packaging components, equipment, personnel or HVAC systems. These cultures differ from type cultures, which can be obtained from culture collections or biological resource centers.
Microbiologics stores, maintains, and preserves these unique microorganism strains provided by the client. These strains are then packaged according to the client's specifications in convenient, ready-to-use formats. The resulting products are then safely and reliably shipped to the customer's testing locations throughout the world.
“We currently provide Custom Solutions for several Fortune 500 companies and their feedback has been phenomenal”, comments Microbiologics Chief Operating Officer, Donna Scholer. “They are extremely happy with the end product, as well as the exceptional Customer Service we provide,” Scholer adds.
Microbiologics Chief Executive Officer, Brad Goskowicz, states, “Maintaining cultures in-house is not only time consuming and labor-intensive, it can also prove to be problematic. These challenges, along with fewer personnel and reduced budgets, are examples of why many companies have chosen to defer this responsibility to Microbiologics.”
Founded in 1971, Microbiologics is in its fortieth year in business. With over 780 microorganism strains and fifteen different product brands in their catalog, Microbiologics has the most diversified product line in the market. The company's mission is to provide the highest quality biomaterials for a safer, healthier world.
