The "Giraffone", from International pbi, is a new automatic pipettor designed for use under a Biological Safety Cabinet.

It has a new ergonomic design with a longer handle - hence its name - to reduce the amount of arm lifting that is necessary with a conventional pipettor.

Pipetting under a hood doesn’t need to be a pain in the neck! The removable stand enables the unit to be set down without the risk of pipette contamination. It can be used with any type of disposable sterile pipette.
