Versatile Culture Media Production ..

Tubefiller

INTEGRA Biosciences has announced TUBEFILLER - a new option that further expands the versatility of its internationally popular MEDIAJET media preparation system.

For every laboratory involved in culture media production, the TUBEFILLER option seamlessly expands the functionality of MEDIAJET, as it allows conversion of the automated Petri dish pourer into a highly productive test tube filler in just a few minutes.

TUBEFILLER has been designed, at the push of a button, to provide continuous processing of racks of test tubes. For 16mm tubes, filled each with 10ml of media, it takes less than 1 hour to fill 1000 tubes.

Ergonomic in design, the TUBEFILLER accommodates a wide range of test tube diameters (13, 16, 20, 25 or 30mm) making it suitable for dispensing of liquids for a wide range of applications including production of agar slants, broth cultures and NaCl dilutions. Offering a dosing variability of less than 1%, for volumes of 1 to 99 ml / tube, the TUBEFILLER ensures consistent media tube filling.

All functions on the MEDIAJET and TUBEFILLER are conveniently controlled via a large graphical user interface. Intuitive software ensures operation of the system is completely self-explanatory even to occasional users. The ability to store up to 20 programmable methods provides facility to further improve unattended productivity.

For consistent culture quality, maintaining a clean environment during the dispensing process is essential. The surface of the MEDIAJET filling chamber is manufactured from a single piece of chemically resistant polyethylene facilitating convenient and efficient cleaning.

For further information on the TUBEFILLER and MEDIAJET please contact INTEGRA Biosciences using the contact details at the top of this page.
