Strong International Sales Growth for INTEGRA Biosciences
INTEGRA Biosciences, a specialist supplier of innovative laboratory products, has reported strong international sales growth for the fiscal year ending December 2005.
With the introduction of the new MEDIAJET automated media preparation system, upgrades to the Vacusafe Comfort system for safe aspiration of biohazardous liquids and an established portfolio of high-quality products for cell cultivation, liquid handling and sterilisation the company achieved strong double-digit growth in international sales and value added in 2005.
Reflecting upon the positive year - Elmar Morscher (Managing Director) commented 'The growth in 2005 reflects our continuing investment in new innovative products, striving to maintain top product quality and a successful reorganization of the INTEGRA Group.. He added 'The new organization enables us to streamline communications, offer faster response to customer and distributor queries and provide top-level product and service training from our modern well-equipped customer support facility'.
Looking into 2006 the company is planning to introduce further new products and product upgrades to facilitate its targeted above the market growth in Europe, North America and Asia.
