The aim of the Workshop is to improve and exchange the knowledge on methods for GMO screening, identification and quantification. Practical and theoretical lectures focus on GMO testing and considerations for sample preparation. Real-time PCR based methods for GMO screening, identification and quantification will be discussed. In the laboratory, a practical training will help to understand the main obstacles with sample preparation, and how automation can facilitate routine sample processing. The hands-on training will guide through the analysis, from sample preparation to GMO screening, identification and quantification. Finally, result interpretation and reporting complete the workshop.
The workshop is addressed to governmental labs, routine service laboratories and quality control departments, which are just implementing GMO analysis in the laboratory or already use real-time PCR and are looking for the better method.
