FDA-registered US food manufacturing facilities as well as facilities located in foreign countries and exporting to the US will have to update their food safety and food defence programs to meet the new Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements.
The final regulations related to hazard analysis and preventive controls, food defence, sanitary transport, and domestic and foreign supplier verification will be issued late 2015 and early 2016.
Most food firms will have about 12 months to prepare before the FDA will begin enforcing these regulations.
Who Should Attend?
US manufacturing and distribution facilities: managers and other key personnel responsible for food safety and food defense (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, sanitation, maintenance, and quality assurance)
Importers: importers held accountable for the compliance status of imported food products and their foreign suppliers.
This in-person training is also running on Nov 17- 18, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ, US.
