Pall Presentation on qPCR at Rapid Methods Europe 2010
Make sure to attend the forthcoming 'Rapid Methods Europe 2010' event in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, where Bertrand Coissac will give a presentation on how pathogenic E. coli O157:H7 and Listeria identification assays demonstrate the ability of Pall's GeneDisc® qPCR technology to detect multiple target organisms in food production.
The presentation will take place during Parallel Session #5 on Tuesday 26th January, and following this, Bertrand will also discuss the pathogenic E. coli O157:H7 assay (characterized by the presence of the stx and eae genes, as described in the EFSA publication) together with a demonstration of Listeria identification performed in minutes. For more information, please email email@example.com or visit: www.pall.com/biopharm_52498.asp
Several industries, including food safety, have already adopted qPCR as a rapid method for detecting microorganisms. Microbiological quality control testing in the biopharmaceutical industry includes several applications well-suited to qPCR but these requirements have not been served well by previous qPCR platforms. Pall's GeneDisc technology is changing this by providing a unique, highly simplified and controlled method well suited to these requirements. Bertrand will also explain how the technology offers:
Also, take time to visit Pall's exhibition booth where the GeneDisc® technology will be on display, with Pall experts also available to assist you with questions and queries related to qPCR.
