Bridge4Bio Assists Biotech Manufacturers Identify Distribution Channels

A key factor in Bridge4Bio's continuing business growth is the international consultancy group's ability to assist start-ups and medium sized life sciences and biotechnology companies to quickly and efficiently identify and select the best global distribution channels for their markets.

Bridge4Bio's global team of senior consultants, now 10 strong, is skilled at guiding companies to find an appropriate distributor for a specific territory or technology sector. The consultancy also has the knowledge and expertise to select appropriate partners worldwide for OEM mergers or licensing deals to help broaden the business opportunities and prospects of life sciences and biotechnology companies.

'Thanks to our experience the global consultant network Bridge4Bio is able to progress a project faster, better and at a lower cost because of the knowledge and connections that we bring to the table,' explained Hugh Douglas, Bridge4Bio's President. 'The excellence of our client support can be illustrated by a business trip one of our consulting partners, Dr. Tiina Sepp, recently completed to Asia.'

'During a fruitful trip to Asia I travelled to Korea, China/Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan,' explained Dr. Tiina Sepp, a Bridge4Bio Consulting Partner based in the San Francisco Bay Area. 'The trip saw me finalize a distribution agreement in Korea for one client, train some of the staff on the client's product line before travelling to Hong Kong where I interviewed two finalist distribution candidates for China for another client. On the final leg of the trip I also interviewed eight different distributors for three clients in Taiwan.'

The Asian trip saw Dr. Sepp hold a follow-up meeting with a pharmaceutical company after having a pre-meeting in the SF Bay Area. She also audited a Taiwanese manufacturer of laboratory equipment to assess their quality and capabilities to meet the requirements of an OEM project for a client in Germany.

'Thanks to my trip across Asia, Bridge4Bio was able to assist four different clients, each with varying needs. They all benefited from reduced expenses due to planning my trip in parallel with all of their requirements,' said Dr.Sepp.

Douglas added, 'After Dr. Sepp's trip our clients were able to appoint the very best distributor for their market and territory. The relationships and knowledge our global team has built up over many years gives our clients a 'virtual' experienced marketing and sales department in an instant. The benefit and power of 10 consultants is a pooled resource, bar none and all for the cost of one.'

Bridge4Bio will be exhibiting on stand number A3-380 at Analytica 2010, March 23 -26, 2010 Munich, Germany.
