Anachem is proud to introduce the new PIPETMAN Concept® to users in the UK and Ireland. In its desire to set new standards, Gilson has listened to what users require from a motorized electronic pipette and developed a product that is more finely tuned to scientists needs than any other pipette available to date. Conceived with simplicity and flexibility in mind it exhibits exclusive multifunction characteristics and radical new features within a traditional Gilson design.

Simple ˜One Step" command buttons and intuitive software make it immediately as easy to use as a mobile phone. Sophisticated electronics drive a user-friendly display with selectable menus and straightforward navigation. In fact, its so intuitive and easy to use most users will be up and running in no time, without needing to spend valuable research time studying the user manual.

A multifunctional "mouse like"thumbwheel, never before seen on a pipette, makes this pipette the easiest to use. Just click and scroll to set the volume, to navigate or to select a menu option.

The ergonomic design of the Concept handle and keyboard ensures maximum comfort to help prevent laboratory Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and Work Related Upper Limb Disorder (WRULD) problems. The adjustable rest hook guarantees best fit in all users hands, while the exclusive new Gilson Forceless Integrated Tip Ejection System (G-F.I.T) designed into the multi channel and large-volume models, provides, instant reliable seals and low ejection forces with traditional conical tips. An adjustable tip-ejector stroke and position provides maximum compatibility with tips, together with comfortable left or right handed ejection.

Ultimate flexibility and adaptability to individuals experimental protocols is offered with the exclusive PC to pipette connection. This completely unique, new dimension in electronic pipetting enables users to create and exchange an unlimited number of pipetting mode programmes and offers enhanced GLP and Service Features. Modes are created in no time from pre-programmed tasks, and can be exchanged on the Internet with a community of PIPETMAN Concept users. The Utility Software also allows reading and modification of the pipettes parameters plus creation of a maintenance report including pipette and environmental condition details.

Fourteen PIPETMAN Concept models will cover the full ran ge of volumes from 0.5 µL to 10 mL, with single and eight or twelve channel multichannel pipettes.
